Welcome

Every line on the tip of your finger creates an intricate and unique design no one else holds.   Sometimes, it can be easy to look around and feel as if there are so many people on the planet that we are just one tiny, insignificant speck.  But something as small as the lines on the end of our fingers point to something so much more.  It points to the truth that the God of the universe intricately designed you and I, down to the tiny lines on our fingers.  God created you and I on purpose with a purpose, and that same God cares about you enough to move mountains so that we may experience life that is truly life.

The Church of Jesus is the primary means by which God chooses to bring about the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven.  The Holy Spirit gifts and empowers each of us individually and corporately to be conduits of God’s love, healing and redemption in the world.  My heart for you and for every single person is that you may encounter the living God. I believe when that happens, every part of your life will be radically transformed.  I want to see the Church Universal renewed and empowered to be the Church as they watch Jesus transform lives.

About

I currently live in Wichita, Kansas with my wife Megan and our two children Lily and Elijah.  I currently serve as the pastor at The Goddard Church. Previously, I have served as a campus pastor overseeing local and international missions as well as spending three years launching and overseeing a new campus.  Life is never dull as I seek to pursue the heart of God and the ministry I am called to, raising two young children, and walking alongside my wife who has experienced many life-altering medical diagnoses over the past few years.  Yet in the midst of it all I love Jesus with all of my heart and am thankful that God, through the Holy Spirit gives me strength, hope and joy with each new day.  In addition to my call to pastor the local congregation, I also desire to empower and equip others to lead and serve their congregations and communities well. I have a passion for discipleship and walking alongside others to grow in their walk with Jesus. My desire is to share the hope, healing, and light of Christ in the midst of the darkness of this broken and hurting world.
